- Bead, prehnite (natural), transparent shaded, 4x1mm-6x3mm hand-cut rondelle, B grade, Mohs hardness 6 to 6-1/2
- Beading wire, Accu-Flex®, nylon and stainless steel, pearl, 49 strand, 0.019-inch diameter
- Clasp, toggle, sterling silver, 13mm twisted. Sold per pkg of 2.
- Crimp cover, sterling silver, 3mm
- Crimp, sterling silver, 2mm cut tube, 1.4mm inside diameter
- Ear wire, sterling silver, 15mm flat fishhook with 2.5mm ball and open loop, 21 gauge
- Head pin, sterling silver, 1-1/2 inches with 1.5mm ball, 24 gauge
- Jump ring, sterling silver, 4mm round, 2.4mm inside diameter, 20 gauge
- Pendant, sterling silver and cubic zirconia, clear, 32x25mm cross
- Seed bead, Miyuki, glass, opaque luster white pearl, (RR420), #11 rocaille
- Wire protector, Accu-Guard™, sterling silver, 4mm tube, 0.5mm inside diameter
Instructions
Necklace Instructions
Step 1
Cut one 20-inch length of Accu-Flex® professional-quality beading wire.
Step 2
String onto the beading wire: one crimp and one Accu-Guard™ wire protector. Pass the beading wire back through the crimp. Pull the beading wire so the crimp rests snug against the Accu-Guard leaving approximately 1/4 inch of beading wire on the end. Crimp then trim excess from the short end of the beading wire. Finish with a crimp cover.
Step 3
String onto the beading wire the following:
- 16 sets of:
- One blush 4mm pearl
- One opaque luster pearl #11 seed bead
- Three prehnite hand-cut rondelle beads
- One opaque luster pearl #11 seed bead
- One blush 4mm pearl
Step 4
Continue to string two opaque luster pearl #11 seed beads and one 32x25mm cross pendant. Repeat the stringing sequence in Step 3 going the opposite direction to create the second half of the necklace. Repeat Step 2 to secure the strand.
Step 5
Pass one 4mm jump ring through the loop on the toggle clasp and the Accu-Guard on one end of the strand then close. Repeat to connect the second portion of the clasp to the opposite end of the strand.
Earring Instructions
Step 1
String the following onto one 1-1/2 inch head pin:
- One blush 4mm pearl
- One opaque luster #11 seed bead
- Three prehnite hand-cut rondelle beads
- One opaque luster #11 seed bead
Create a wrapped loop.
Step 2
Pass the loop on the ear wire through the wrapped loop, then close.
Step 3
Repeat Steps 1 and 2 to create a second earring.
