Instructions
Cut the following:
String one glass butterfly onto one 1-inch headpin then form a simple loop. Repeat to create a total of five butterfly drops.
Attach one butterfly drop to the first link on each length of chain.
Pass one 4mm jumpring through the last link on each length of chain and the eye of one 3-inch eyepin then close.
String onto the eyepin:
Form a wrapped loop to create a butterfly focal.
String onto the beading wire: one crimp and one Accu-Guard™ wire protector. Pass the beading wire back through the crimp. Pull the beading wire so the crimp rests snug against the Accu-Guard leaving approximately 1/4 inch of beading wire on the end.
Crimp, then trim the excess from the short end of the beading wire. Finish with a crimp cover.
String onto the beading wire: one 12mm twisted bugle bead and one glass butterfly bead (in the color of your choice). Repeat to string a total of 13 sets. Continue to string one 12mm twisted bugle bead then repeat Step 4 to secure the strand.
Repeat Steps 4 and 5 to create a second strand.
Pass one 6mm jumpring through wrapped loop on the butterfly focal and the Accu-Guard on one end of each strand then close.
Pass one 4mm jumpring through one portion of the button clasp and the Accu-Guard on the opposite end of one strand then close. Repeat to attach the second portion of the clasp.
Cut the following lengths of 2mm curb chain: four 3/4 inch lengths, four 1-inch lengths and two 1-1/4 inch lengths.
String one glass butterfly onto one 1-inch headpin then form a simple loop. Repeat to create a total of ten butterfly drops.
Attach one butterfly drop to the first link on each length of chain.
Pass one 4mm jumpring through last link of: two 3/4 inch lengths, two 1-inch lengths, 1-1/4 inch length of chain and the eye of one 2-inch eyepin then close.
String onto the eyepin: one 7x4mm flower bead cap (large end first) and one 3mm smooth round. Form a wrapped loop creating a butterfly and chain drop.
Pass one 4mm jumpring through one leverback earwire and the wrapped loop on the butterfly chain drop.
Repeat to create a second earring.
