Instructions
17-inch Necklace
Cut one 17-inch length of Accu-Flex professional-quality beading wire.
Attach the kite ice-pick bail to the top of the crystal AB Z 24mm cross tribe drop.
String one crystal AB 6mm bicone onto one 1-inch headpin then form a simple loop. Pass one 6mm twisted jumpring through the loop on the crystal AB bicone drop and a second 6mm twisted jumpring then close. Continue to connect a total of 11 twisted jumprings creating an extender chain. Attach one 4mm jumpring to the last twisted jumpring in the chain.
String onto the 17-inch length of beading wire: one crimp and one Accu-Guard™ wire protector. Pass the beading wire back through the crimp. Pull the beading wire so the crimp rests snug against the Accu-Guard leaving approximately 1/4 inch of beading wire on the end. Crimp, then trim the excess from the short end of the beading wire. Finish with a crimp cover.
String the following onto the beading wire:
Continue to string one iridescent 4mm pearl and the bail on the cross tribe drop. Repeat Step 4 in the opposite direction to string the second half of the necklace then repeat Step 3 to secure the strand.
Remove the ring from one lobster claw clasp then use one 4mm jumpring to attach the clasp to the Accu-Guard on one end of the strand. Repeat to attach the extender chain to the opposite end of the strand.
String one iridescent red 6mm pearl onto one 1-inch eyepin then from a simple loop. Repeat to create a total of 31 iridescent red 6mm pearl links.
Repeat to create the following links:
Connect the following using 4mm jumprings:
Continue to connect the following:
Continue to connect the sequence of links in Step 2 in the opposite order to create the second half of the necklace, using one 6mm twisted jumpring instead of the lobster claw clasp.
Cut one 13-inch length of Accu-Flex professional-quality beading wire and two 7-inch lengths of 2.2mm cable chain.
String onto the 13-inch length of beading wire: one crimp and one Accu-Guard™ wire protector.
Repeat Step 2 to secure the strand.
Create the following links: eight crystal AB 4mm round links, two light azore 4mm bicone links and six crystal AB 6mm bicone links.
Pass one 6mm twisted jumpring through the Accu-Guard on one end of the strand and one loop on one crystal AB 6mm bicone link then close.
Continue to connect the following using 4mm jumprings:
Use one 4mm jumpring to attach one lobster claw clasp to the last link on the chain.
Repeat Steps 5 and 6 using the Accu-Guard on the opposite end of the strand to create the second of the necklace. Attach one 6mm twisted jumpring to the last link on the chain.
Use the Beadalon® Tassel Maker to create three tassels using pale green size FFF Purely Silk™ thread, two tassels using plum size FFF Purely Silk thread and two tassels using white size FFF Purely Silk thread.
Attach one 6mm twisted jumpring to the top of each tassel. Use E6000® Fabri-Fuse™ adhesive to secure the tail inside each tassel and attach one 6mm twisted jumpring.
Note: Use the ''How to Use the Beadalon® Tassel Maker'' for a step-by-step video how-to and illustrated instructions.
Cut one 6-foot length of brown size D Nymo® thread. Thread a beading needle almost doubling the thread (to make it easier to work with) but leaving a tail so you are working with only one thread. Place a Bead Stopper on the opposite end of the thread leaving an approximately 6-inch tail.
Tip: It will be necessary to cut other lengths of thread later in the design.
String seven galvanized lavender #11 seed beads then pass the needle through the next-to-last seed bead strung (skipping the second seed bead). Continue to string one galvanized lavender #11 seed bead, skip one seed bead from the previous row then pass through the next seed bead. Repeat once more to finish the third row.
Continue to peyote stitch a strip of galvanized lavender #11 seed beads long enough to wrap around the diameter of the top of one white tassel.
Continue to create two frosted violet #11 seed bead peyote strips then stitch three light blue #11 seed bead peyote strips, using turquoise blue Nymo thread.
Continue to create one peyote stitch strip in a pattern of one frosted violet, one galvanized lavender, two crystal, one galvanized lavender and one frosted violet seed beads.
Tip: Once the desired length of peyote strip is complete, stitch back through the strip to secure leaving a tail. Begin a new peyote strip using a new length of thread and an alternate color of seed beads to make it easier to begin the new section. Continue to alternate colors then pull the sections apart and secure the ends of thread to finish each strip.
Wrap the galvanized lavender peyote stitch strip around the top of one white tassel then use the tail to connect the ends of the strip.
Repeat to attach one light blue strip to the second white tassel, the remaining light blue strips to a pale green tassel, the patterned strip to the remaining pale green tassel and each frosted violet strip to a plum tassel.
Create the following links:
String one light amethyst 6mm round onto one 1-inch headpin then from a simple loop creating an amethyst drop.
Connect the following: the pale green tassel with patterned strip, one iridescent red 10mm coin pearl link, one crystal AB 6mm bicone link and one iridescent red 6mm pearl link. Attach one 4mm jumpring to the loop on the opposite end of the pearl link.
Attach one tassel to the loop on one crystal AB 4mm round link then attach one 4mm jumpring to the opposite end of the link. Repeat using each of the remaining tassels.
Pass one 8mm twisted jumpring through the pearl link attached to the patterned tassel and the crystal AB 4mm round link attached to the white tassel with light blue strip. Use one 4mm jumpring to connect one iridescent red 8mm pearl link.
Continue to connect the following in the pattern of your choice, using 6mm twisted jumprings:
Pass one 6mm twisted jumpring through the last link in the chain and a second 4mm twisted jumpring then close. Use one 4mm jumpring to attach one lobster claw clasp (ring removed) to the previous jumpring.
Use one 4mm jumpring to attach one iridescent red 8mm pearl link to the 8mm twisted jumpring attached to the patterned and white tassels.
Continue to connect the following in the pattern of your choice, using 6mm twisted jumprings:
Pass one 4mm jumpring through the last link in the chain and one 6mm twisted jumpring then close. Continue to connect seven more 6mm twisted jumprings creating a chain. Use one 6mm twisted jumpring to attach the amethyst drop to the previous jumpring.
Create two tassels using a combination of white, plum and pale green Purely Silk thread. Use plum thread to wrap the center of the tassels then attach one 6mm twisted jumpring to the top of each tassel. Use E6000® Fabri-Fuse™ adhesive to secure the tail inside each tassel and attach one.
Cut one 6-foot length of brown Nymo thread.
Create a seven count peyote stitch strip using frosted violet #11 seed beads long enough to wrap around the diameter of the top of one tassel. Repeat to create a second strip.
Wrap one peyote stitch strip around the top of one tassel then use the tail to connect the ends of the strip. Repeat to attach the second strip to the second tassel.
String one iridescent red 10mm coin pearl onto one 1-inch eyepin then from a simple loop. Repeat to create a second coin pearl link.
Attach the loop on one end of one coin pearl link to the jumpring on one tassel then attach one leverback earwire to the opposite end of the link.
Repeat to create a second earring.
