Necklace Instructions

Step 1

Cut the following lengths:

Accu-Flex® professional-quality beading wire:

One 8-3/4 inch
One 9-1/4 inch
One 9-3/4 inch
One 10-1/4 inch
Six 10-inch
One 4-inch
One 12-3/4 inch
One 13-1/4 inch
One 13-3/4 inch
One 14-1/4 inch

Two 1-1/2 inch lengths of 3mm flat cable chain
Twenty-three 1/2 inch lengths of French wire

Step 2

Pass one 3.5mm jump ring through the last link on one length of chain and the loop on one end of one pink 22x13mm rectangle druzy agate link then close.

Pass one 3.5mm jump ring through the first link on the previous chain and the loop on the opposite end of the pink druzy agate link then close.

Repeat to connect the remaining length of chain to the loops on the pink druzy agate link.

Tip: Glue can be used to adhere the sides of the chain to the links for added security.

Step 3

String onto the 4-inch length of beading wire: one crimp and one length of French wire. Pass the beading wire back through the crimp. Pull the beading wire so the crimp rests snug against the French wire leaving approximately 1/4 inch of beading wire on the end.

Crimp, then trim the excess from the short end of the beading wire. Finish with a 4mm crimp cover.

Step 4

String the following onto the length of beading wire:

Four gold-finished #15 seed beads
One 14Kt gold-filled 2mm round
Two garnet 3mm rounds
Repeat this sequence to string three sets:

Three garnet small chip beads
One 14Kt gold-filled 4mm round

One 5x1mm beaded rondelle
One garnet 4x1mm square rondelle
One 5x1mm beaded rondelle

Crimp then trim the excess wire. Finish with a 4mm crimp cover.

Step 5

String one length of French wire onto the middle of one 10-inch length of beading wire then pass the beading wire through one link on one corner of the pink druzy agate link.

Match up the ends of the beading wire then string one crimp.

Crimp and finish with a 4mm crimp cover then separate the strands.

Step 6

String the following onto one length in the pattern of your choice:

Six gold-finished #15 seed beads
One 14Kt gold-filled 3mm round
Three garnet 3 - 4mm faceted rounds

String one length of French wire onto the middle of one 10-inch length of beading wire then pass the beading wire through the 4mm jumpring nearest the previously used chain link on the pink druzy agate link.

Match up the ends of the beading wire then string one crimp.

Crimp and finish with a 4mm crimp cover then separate the strands.

Step 9

String the following onto one length of beading wire previously separated beading wire in the pattern of your choice:

Two gold-finished #15 seed beads

Pass the beading wire back through the crimp and finish with a 4mm crimp cover.

Step 40

String onto the 12-3/4 inch length of beading wire: one crimp, one length of French wire and the loop from the French wire from the first fringe created in Steps 3 and 4. Pass the beading wire back through the crimp. Pull the beading wire so the crimp rests snug against the French wire then adjust the lengths so that one is 4 inches and the other is 9-1/4 inches. Crimp and finish with a 4mm crimp cover.

String one 14Kt gold-filled 6mm round then separate the strands.

Step 41

String the following onto the 4-inch length:

Four gold-finished #15 seed beads
Two 14Kt gold-filled 3mm rounds
One 14Kt gold-filled 4mm round
One 14Kt gold-filled 3mm round
One 12Kt gold-filled 3mm faceted round
One 14Kt gold-filled 3mm round
Repeat this sequence to string three sets:

Three garnet 3 - 4mm faceted rounds
One 14Kt gold-filled 3mm round

One garnet 5x2mm heishi
One 5x1mm beaded rondelle
Two rose quartz 4x1mm rondelles
One 5x1mm beaded rondelle
One garnet 8mm round

Crimp and then finish with a 4mm crimp cover.

String the following onto the 9-1/4 inch length:

One garnet 7mm faceted rondelle
One garnet 5x2mm heishi
One 5x1mm beaded rondelle
Two rose quartz 4x1mm rondelles
One 5x1mm beaded rondelle
One 5x2mm heishi
One garnet 7mm faceted rondelle
One 14Kt gold-filled 6mm round

Step 43

Pass one 3.5mm jump ring through the French wire on one end of the 10-1/4 inch length and the second chain link down from the link used in Step 5 then close.

Pass one 3.5mm jump ring through the French wire on the opposite end of the length and the fourth loop on one portion of one 4-strand slide lock clasp.

Step 44

Repeat Step 43 using 3.5mm jump rings to connect the following:

The garnet end of the 9-3/4 inch length to the fourth chain link from the chain link used in Step 5
The opposite end of the 9-3/4 inch length to the third loop on the same current portion of slide lock clasp
The garnet end of the 9-1/4 inch length to the sixth chain link from the chain link used in Step 5
The opposite end of the 9-1/4 inch length to the second loop on the slide lock clasp
The garnet end of the 8-3/4 inch length to the 10th chain link from the chain link used in Step 5
The opposite end of the 8-3/4 inch length to the first loop on the slide lock clasp

Step 45

Using 3.5mm jump rings and the remaining portion of slide lock clasp, repeat Steps 43 and 44 to secure the second half of the necklace.

The opposite end of the 14-1/4 inch length to first loop
The garnet end of the 13-3/4 inch length to the fifth chain link from the previous strand
The opposite end of the 13-3/4 inch length to the second loop
The garnet end of the 13-1/4 inch length to the seventh chain link from the previous strand
The opposite end of the 13-1/4 inch length to the third loop
The garnet end of the 12-3/4 inch length to the ninth chain link from the previous strand
The opposite end of the 12-3/4 inch length to the fourth loop

Earring Instructions

Step 1

String the following onto one 1-1/4 inch headpin:

One 14Kt gold-filled 3mm round
One garnet 8mm round
One 5x1mm beaded rondelle
Two rose quartz 4x1mm rondelles
One 5x1mm beaded rondelle
One garnet 4mm faceted round

Form a simple loop on the straight end of the wire creating a garnet drop.

Step 2

Pass the loop on one clip-on earring through the loop on the drop.

Step 3

Repeat Steps 1 and 2 to create a second earring.
