- Bead, silver-plated brass, 2mm square round
- Bead, silver-plated brass, 5x3mm oval
- Bead, turquoise (dyed / stabilized), 4mm round, B grade, Mohs hardness 5 to 6
- Bead, turquoise (dyed / stabilized), 6mm round, B grade, Mohs hardness 5 to 6
- Bead, turquoise (dyed / stabilized), 6x4mm oval, B grade, Mohs hardness 5 to 6
- Beading wire, Accu-Flex®, nylon and stainless steel, pearl, 49 strand, 0.019-inch diameter
- Clasp, magnetic barrel, silver-plated steel, 10x5mm round tube with 1mm inside diameter
- Crimp cover, silver-plated brass, 4mm round
- Crimp end, silver-plated brass, 4x2mm tube with loop, 1mm inside diameter
- Crimp, sterling silver, 2mm cut tube, 1.4mm inside diameter
- Drop, silver-finished "pewter" (zinc-based alloy), 23x7mm single-sided hollow spike
- Ear wire, silver-plated brass, 18mm leverback with 8x6mm shell and open loop
- Head pin, silver-plated brass, 2 inches, 21 gauge
- Jump ring, silver-plated brass, 4mm round, 2.4mm inside diameter, 20 gauge
- Wire protector, Accu-Guard™, silver-plated brass, 4mm tube, 0.5mm inside diameter
Instructions
Necklace Instructions
Step 1
Cut one 22-inch length of Accu-Flex® professional-quality beading wire.
Step 2
String onto the beading wire: one crimp and one Accu-Guard™ wire protector. Pass the beading wire back through the crimp. Pull the beading wire so the crimp rests snug against the Accu-Guard leaving approximately 1/4 inch of beading wire on the end.
Crimp, then trim the excess from the short end of the beading wire. Finish with a 4mm crimp cover.
Step 3
String the following onto the beading wire:
- One turquoise 6x4mm oval
- One 2mm square round
- One turquoise 6mm round
- One 2mm square round
- One turquoise 6x4mm oval
- One 5x3mm oval
Repeat this sequence to string a total of six sets.
Step 4
Continue to string the following:
- One turquoise 6x4mm oval
- One 2mm square round
- One turquoise 6mm round
- One 2mm square round
- One turquoise 6x4mm oval
Step 5
Continue to string one 23x7mm hollow spike and one turquoise 6mm round. Repeat this sequence to string a total of four sets.
Continue to string one 23x7mm hollow spike then repeat Step 3 and 4 in the opposite direction to string the remainder of the necklace.
Repeat Step 2 to secure the strand.
Step 6
String one portion of the magnetic barrel clasp onto one 2-inch headpin then form a wrapped loop. Repeat using the second portion of the clasp.
Step 7
Pass one 4mm jumpring through the wrapped loop on one portion of the clasp and the Accu-Guard on one end of the strand then close. Repeat to attach a second jumpring creating double jumprings.
Repeat to attach the second portion of the clasp.
Earring Instructions
Step 1
Cut two 6-inch lengths of beading wire.
Step 2
Place a Bead Stopper™ on one end of one length of beading wire.
Step 3
String the following:
- One turquoise 4mm round
- One 5x3mm oval
- One turquoise 6x4mm oval
- One turquoise 4mm round
- One 2mm square round
- One turquoise 6mm round
- One 2mm square round
- One turquoise 4mm round
Step 4
Continue to string one 23x7mm hollow spike then repeat the sequence in Step 3 in the opposite direction.
Step 5
Remove the Bead Stopper then string one 4x2mm crimp with loop onto both ends of the beading wire. Pull the ends of the beading wire so the crimp rests snug against the beads. Crimp, then trim the excess from the ends of the beading wire.
Pass the loop on one leverback earwire through the loop on the crimp then close.
Step 6
Repeat Steps 2 - 5 to create a second earring.
