Instructions
Using flush-cutters cut one 54-inch length and one 20-inch length of Accu-Flex® professional-quality beading wire.
Using a pair of chain-nose pliers and bent-nose pliers open two silver-plated 4mm jumprings.
Pass one 4mm jumpring through the loop on one portion of one silver-plated 12x10mm teardrop tab clasp. Close the jumpring. Repeat to attach a 4mm jumpring to the second portion of the tab clasp.
Mix a small amount of Devcon® 5 Minute® Epoxy.
Apply a small amount of epoxy to the center of the bezel on the tab clasp and to the back of one Siam 8x6mm pear embellishment. Press the pear embellishment into the bezel. Place the tab clasp on a flat surface and allow to dry fully.
String onto both lengths of beading wire one sterling silver 2x2mm crimp bead. Arrange the beading wire leaving an approximately 2-inch tail of the 54-inch length and 1/4 inch tail of the 20-inch length of beading wire. Place a small amount of adhesive (Loctite®) inside the crimp (optional).
Using crimping pliers crimp the crimp bead. Using flush-cutters trim the excess from the end of the 20-inch length of beading wire. (Do not trim the 54-inch length). Place one silver-plated 4mm crimp cover over the crimp bead then gently close it.
String the following onto the 2-inch tail:
Crimp the crimp bead, trim the excess from the end of the beading wire and attach a crimp cover.
String the following onto the 20-inch length of beading wire:
Place a Bead Stopper™ on the end of the beading wire.
String the following onto the 54-inch length of beading wire:
Repeat the stringing sequence in Step 7 a total of seventeen times continuing to use the cross holes from the light Colorado topaz 6.4mm montees from the first strand.
Continue to string:
Remove the Bead Stopper from the 20-inch length of beading wire. String onto both lengths of beading wire one sterling silver 2x2mm crimp bead then crimp the crimp bead.
Trim the shorter length of beading wire and attach a crimp cover.
Repeat Step 5 to attach the second portion of the clasp.
String onto one silver-plated 1-inch headpin one light Colorado topaz 4mm bicone and one silver-plated 2.5mm round.
Using a pair of chain-nose pliers, round-nose pliers and flush-cutters form a simple loop on the straight end of the wire creating a 4mm bicone drop.
Repeat to create a total of twenty-six 4mm bicone drops.
Open the hoop on one silver-plated 40x22mm teardrop beading hoop. String onto the beading hoop one silver-plated 2.5mm round and one Siam 9x5mm briolette. Repeat to string a total of five sets. Continue to string one silver-plated 2.5mm round.
Insert the end of the wire into the hole at the top of the beading hoop to secure the it in place. Place a small amount of gel adhesive inside the hole (optional).
Using a pair of chain-nose pliers and bent-nose pliers open six silver-plated 4mm jumprings.
Pass one 4mm jumpring through one 4mm bicone drop. Close the jumpring.
Pass one 4mm jumpring through the previous jumpring and two 4mm bicone drops. Close the jumpring. Repeat to connect a total of five 4mm jumprings.
Pass one 4mm jumpring through the last connected 4mm jumpring and through the bottom loop on the beading hoop. Close the jumpring.
Using a pair of chain-nose pliers and bent-nose pliers open the loop on one silver-plated leverback earwire. Pass the loop through the top loop on the beading hoop. Close the loop.
Repeat Steps 2 - 6 to create a second earring.
