Instructions
String the following onto one silver-plated 2-inch headpin:
Using a pair of chain-nose pliers, round-nose pliers and flush-cutters form a simple loop on the straight end of the wire creating a crazy lace agate focal.
Using a pair of chain-nose pliers gently press the sides of the first bead cap so they form around the base of the teardrop.
Using flush-cutters cut one 22-inch length of Accu-Flex® professional-quality beading wire.
String onto the beading wire one sterling silver 2x2mm crimp bead and one Accu-Guard™ wire protector. Pass the beading wire back through the crimp bead. Pull the beading wire so the crimp rests snug against the Accu-Guard leaving approximately 1/4 inch of beading wire on the end. Place a small amount of adhesive (Loctite®) inside the crimp (optional).
Using crimping pliers crimp the crimp bead. Using flush-cutters trim the excess from the short end of the beading wire. Place one silver-plated 4mm stardust crimp cover over the crimp bead then gently close it.
String the following onto the beading wire:
Continue to string one crazy lace agate focal.
Repeat the stringing sequence in Step 5 in the opposite direction to string the second half of the necklace.
Repeat Step 4 to secure the strand.
Using a pair of chain-nose and bent-nose pliers open two silver-plated 5mm jumprings.
Pass one jumpring through the loop on one portion of one silver-plated fishhook clasp and the Accu-Guard on one end of the necklace. Close the jumpring.
Repeat to attach the loop on the other portion of the clasp to the opposite end of the necklace.
Tip: Use a second crimp cover to disguise extra space at the end of a necklace or to even out a design.
String the following onto one silver-plated 2-inch headpin:
Using a pair of chain-nose pliers, round-nose pliers and flush-cutters form a simple loop on the straight end of the wire creating a crazy lace agate drop.
String the following onto one silver-plated 2-inch eyepin:
Using a pair of chain-nose pliers, round-nose pliers and flush-cutters form a simple loop on the straight end of the wire creating a turquoise link.
Repeat Steps 1 and 2 to create a second set of beading links and drops.
Using a pair of chain-nose pliers and bent-nose pliers open the loop on one crazy lace agate drop. Pass the loop through the loop on one end of one turquoise link. Close the loop.
Open the loop on the opposite end of the turquoise link and pass it through the loop on one silver-plated leverback earwire. Close the loop.
Repeat Steps 4 and 5 to create a second earring.
