- Bead, Crystal Passions®, crystal blue shade, 6mm bicone (5328)
- Bead, labradorite (natural), 12mm flat round, A- grade, Mohs hardness 6 to 6-1/2
- Bead, red jasper (natural), 12mm round, B grade, Mohs hardness 6-1/2 to 7
- Bead, silver-plated brass, 4x2mm heishi
- Bead, silver-plated brass, 5x2mm heishi
- Beading wire, Accu-Flex®, nylon and stainless steel, clear, 49 strand, 0.019-inch diameter
- Clasp, button, antique silver-plated brass, 7.5mm round
- Crimp cover, silver-plated brass, 4mm stardust round
- Ear wire, silver-plated brass, 18mm leverback with 8x4mm shell and open loop
- Focal, Sierra agate (natural), 40x30mm hand-cut top-drilled flat rectangle, B grade, Mohs hardness 6-1/2 to 7
- Head pin, silver-plated brass, 2 inches, 21 gauge
- Wire protector, Accu-Guard™, silver-plated brass, 4mm tube, 0.5mm inside diameter
- Wire, sterling silver-filled, half-hard, round, 22 gauge
Instructions
Necklace Instructions
Step 1
Using flush-cutters cut the following:
- One 18-inch length of Accu-Flex® professional-quality beading wire
- One 4-inch length of sterling silver-filled 22-gauge wire
Step 2
String onto the 4-inch length of sterling silver-filled 22-gauge wire one Sierra agate 40x30mm puffed rectangle focal.
Step 3
Bring the ends of the wire together and string the following:
- One labradorite 12mm flat round
- One and silver-plated crystal AB 8x3.5mm rondelle
- One red jasper 12mm round
Using a pair of bent-nose pliers and chain-nose pliers create a briolette wrapped loop on the straight end of the wire creating a Sierra agate focal.
Step 4
String the following onto the beading wire:
- One sterling silver 2x2mm crimp bead
- One Accu-Guard™ wire protector
- The loop on one portion of one silver-plated button clasp
Pass the beading wire back through the crimp bead. Pull the beading wire so the crimp rests snug against the Accu-Guard leaving approximately 1/4 inch of beading wire on the end. Place a small amount of adhesive (Loctite®) inside the crimp (optional).
Using crimping pliers crimp the crimp bead. Using flush-cutters trim the excess from the short end of the beading wire. Place one silver-plated 4mm stardust crimp cover over the crimp bead then gently close it
Step 5
String the following onto the beading wire:
- One silver-plated 4x2mm heishi
- One red jasper 12mm round
- Repeat this stringing sequence a total of eight times
- One silver-plated 5x2mm heishi
- One labradorite 12mm flat round
- One silver-plated 5x2mm heishi
- One red jasper 12mm round
- One and silver-plated crystal AB 8x3.5mm rondelle
- Two crystal AB 10x3.5mm marguerites flowers
- One and silver-plated crystal AB 8x3.5mm rondelle
- One red jasper 12mm round
- Repeat this stringing sequence a total of three times
- One silver-plated 5x2mm heishi
- One labradorite 12mm flat round
- One silver-plated 5x2mm heishi
Step 6
Continue to string the loop from the Sierra agate focal.
Step 7
Repeat the stringing sequence in Step 5 in the opposite direction to string the second half of the necklace.
Repeat Step 4 using the second portion of the clasp to secure the strand.
Earring Instructions
Step 1
String the following onto one silver-plated 2-inch head pin:
- One red jasper 12mm round
- One silver-plated 5x2mm heishi
- One crystal blue shade 6mm bicone
Using a pair of chain-nose pliers, round-nose pliers and flush-cutters form a wrapped loop on the straight end of the wire creating a red jasper drop.
Step 2
Using a pair of chain-nose pliers and bent-nose pliers open the loop on one silver-plated 17mm leverback ear wire. Pass the loop through the loop on the red jasper drop. Close the loop.
Step 3
Repeat Steps 1 and 2 to create a second earring.
