- Bead, Crystal Passions®, light Siam, 4mm faceted round (5000)
- Bead, Crystal Passions®, crystal AB, 4mm faceted round (5000)
- Head pin, silver-plated brass, 3 inches, 21 gauge
- Ear wire, stainless steel, 13mm flat fishhook with 2.5mm ball and open loop, 21 gauge
- Earnut, plastic, clear, 3.5x3mm ribbed safety nut
Instructions
Step 1
String the following onto one headpin:
- One light Siam 4mm round bead
- One clear AB 4mm round bead
- One light Siam 4mm round bead
- The loop of one earwire
Step 2
Shape the headpin into a curve so it resembles a candy-cane shape.
Step 3
String on the following crystals:
- One clear AB 4mm round bead
- One light Siam 4mm round bead
Repeat until you have a total of five clear crystal AB and six lt. siam crystals strung in an alternating pattern.
Step 4
Carefully apply a dab of G-S Hypo cement into the hole of the earwire clutch. Place the earwire clutch onto the headpin then push it up toward the beads so it's resting against the last bead strung. Let the cement dry as instructed on the package.
Step 5
Once the cement has dried, use the side-cutting pliers to trim any excess wire extending past the earwire clutch for a smooth finish.
Step 6
Repeat Steps 1 - 5 to create the second earring.
