Instructions
The malaysia jade necklace measures about 20 inches including the clasp. This necklace is made with 3 strands and therefore it is best made on a bead board.
Stunning three-strand necklace beautifully combines rich shades of red-orange, pink and green Malaysia "jade" beads.
To begin each strand cut 50 inches of thread. Thread the needle, pull the thread halfway through until it is doubled. Knot the ends of the thread together in a balloon knot (imagine you are tying off a balloon). To begin and end each strand, thread a crimp bead close to the knot and crimp the bead (crimping instructions are included with the crimping pliers). Add glue to the outside of the crimp bead and enclose it in a bead tip using the chain-nose pliers (description included in the crimping pliers instructions). Let the glue dry, cut off the excess thread.
The first row starts and ends with three 4mm pink Malaysia ''jade'' beads. Then string pattern A, repeat nine times alternating with pattern B, which repeats eight times.
Step 2-A
Step 2-B
The second row starts and ends with six dark gold rocaille beads. Pattern A repeats seven times alternating with pattern B, which repeats six times.
Step 3-A
Step 3-B
The third row starts and ends with pattern A. Pattern B repeats eight times alternating with pattern C, which repeats seven times.

Step 4-B
Step 4-C
Now that you have three strands with bead tips on both ends, gather one side of three ends, slip the three bead tip loops on to a sterling silver split ring. Slip the S-hook clasp on the same split ring. Repeat for the other side of the necklace using the other part of the clasp, the open ring, for the end. You are finished, enjoy your necklace!
