Place cabochon into the setting and use the bezel pusher and roller to adhere the sides of the setting up against the cabochon. Smooth out the sides until desired smoothness.
Start making the Herringbone seed bead chain for the chain portion. Cut a 12-inch length of Fireline and place a bead stopper or a bead to secure so you won’t lose your beads. String 4 seed beads and bring them to the end of your Fireline. Take your needle and go up the two later beads, pull tight. This will make a little square.
Next grab two more beads and then go down the first bead next to the bead where your needle came out. Go up the two beads on the other side. Now you’ll be coming out of a single bead. Repeat the process by picking up two more beads and repeat coming up the other two beads on opposite side.
Do this until you get about two inches in length. You can switch colors at this point and either alternate or stay a solid color.
When you get the length you want, make a loop by adding one bead and going through one of the top beads. Go up on the opposite side and then through the one single bead. Now add 5 beads and go down the top bead and pull tight, making a small circle. Secure by weaving string up and down the chain. Tie off and cut off excess Fireline string.
Cut about (2) 4.5-inch lengths (or decided length) of metal chain. Attach to the end loops of your beaded section Add clasps then attach the chain to the cabochon with jump ring(s).
Attach the cabochons into earring settings. Use bezel tools to smooth edges and a little 2-part epoxy if you can’t get the stones to stay in setting.
Add jump rings and attach them to earring posts.
