On paper, write out a message in Morse code.
Cut one loop of 1-3/4 inch and one loop of 2-1/2 inch memory wire so the ends of each loop overlap by 1/4 inch. Using the 4mm jaw on the memory wire finishing pliers, create a perpendicular loop on one end of each loop.
Using one color of seed and bugle beads for the code and a contrasting color for the spaces between letters, string the beads onto the memory wire. In the design above, the phrase "Best Friend Forever" is written with the first word strung onto the smaller loop and the other two words onto the larger loop:
-... . ... - / ..-. .-. .. . -. -.. / ..-. --- .-. . ...- . .-.
Add contrasting spacer beads to each end to ensure the words are centered on the loops.
Note: In the Morse code above, forward slashes indicate where one word ends and another begins. Seed beads are used for dots, bugle beads are used for dashes. One of the contrasting color is used for spaces and three for forward slashes.
Use the 4mm jaw on the memory wire finishing pliers to create perpendicular loops on the opposite ends of the memory wire.
Attach the memory wire loops to one 20mm hammered round component.
Pass one jump ring through a paw print charm and the hammered component on the inside of the memory wire then close.
Pass a jump ring through the hammered component on the outside of the memory wire then close. Pass a second jump ring through the first jump ring and through the loop on an ear wire then close.
Repeat Steps 1 - 6 to create a second earring.
