- Bead, mahogany obsidian (natural), 6mm round, B grade, Mohs hardness 5 to 5-1/2
- Bead, silver-plated steel, 6mm round
- Cord, Powercord®, elastic, clear, 0.8mm, 8.5 pound test
- Drop, TierraCast®, white bronze-plated pewter (tin-based alloy), 14x13mm Om symbol
- Jump ring, silver-plated brass, 6x4mm oval, 4.1x2mm inside diameter, 18 gauge
- Adhesive, E6000® Plus
Instructions
Step 1
Cut a 10-inch length of 0.8mm clear Powercord® elastic cord.
Step 2
Apply a 6x4mm oval silver plated jump ring to the Om symbol charm and set aside.
Step 3
Apply a Bead Stopper™ approximately 2 inches from the end of the Powercord elastic cord.
- String on three stainless steel 6mm round beads.
- String on the jump ring attached to the Om symbol charm.
- String on three stainless steel 6mm round beads.
- String on 24 mahogany obsidian 6mm round beads.
Step 4
Remove the bead stopper. Pulling tightly, make a surgeon's knot in the Powercord elastic cord between the last mahogany obsidian bead and the first stainless steel bead. Apply a drop of E6000® Plus adhesive to the knot and let dry 24 hours.
Step 5
Use flush-cutters or scissors to cut off the tails of the Powercord elastic cord. Pull knot into the stainless steel bead beside it.
