- Bead, gold-finished brass, 6x1.5mm liquid tube
- Bead, gold-finished brass, 5x1mm liquid twisted tube
- Crimp, sterling silver, 2mm cut tube, 1.4mm inside diameter
- Beading wire, Tigertail™, nylon-coated stainless steel, gold, 7 strand, 0.015-inch diameter
- Crimp cover, gold-plated brass, 4mm round
- Jump ring, gold-plated brass, 5.5mm round, 3.5mm inside diameter, 18 gauge
- Jump ring, gold-plated brass, 8mm round, 6mm inside diameter, 18 gauge
- Clasp, lobster claw, gold-plated brass, 12x7mm with swivel
- Crimp cover, gold-plated brass, 4mm corrugated round
- Charm, gold-finished "pewter" (zinc-based alloy) and enamel, red / white / blue, 22x13mm single-sided awareness ribbon
- Charm, gold-finished "pewter" (zinc-based alloy) and enamel, red / white / blue, 28x16mm "USA" with stars
- Charm, gold-finished "pewter" (zinc-based alloy) and enamel, red / white / blue, 18mm flat round peace sign with USA flag design
- Bead, gold-finished "pewter" (zinc-based alloy), 4mm round with closed loop
- Wire protector, Accu-Guard™, gold-plated brass, 4mm tube
Instructions
15-Inch Choker
Step 1
Cut 18 inches of Accu-Flex® professional-quality beading wire.
String one crimp and an Accu-Guard™ onto the beading wire. Pass the wire back through the crimp and pull tight, positioning the crimp approximately one millimeter from the Accu-Guard. Crimp, then trim any excess wire from the short end.
Cover the crimp with a crimp cover.
Step 2
String 30 gold tubes, a round bead with loop and 30 gold tubes.
Step 3
Repeat Step 1 to secure the end of the beading wire.
Step 4
Use a 5.5mm jump ring to attach a USA charm to the loop of the center bead.
Use a 5.5mm jump ring to attach a clasp to one end of the necklace.
Add an 8mm jump ring to the opposite end of the necklace.
18-Inch Necklace
Step 5
Repeat the techniques used to create the choker necklace, stringing 22 twisted gold tubes on each half of the necklace.
23-Inch Necklace
Step 6
Repeat the techniques used on the previous necklaces, stringing 45 gold tubes on each half of the necklace.
