Cut three 5-foot lengths of FireLine® thread.
Thread a needle onto one length of thread, almost doubling the thread but leaving a tail so you are only working with one thread.
Place a stop bead on the thread approximately 3 inches from the end.
Pick up approximately 6 inches of bright gold 2mm rounds, 9 inches of gold 2mm rounds and 6 inches of light gold 2mm rounds.
Tip: For the ombre look between colors, randomly alternate colors using the last 10 seed beads of the first color and first 10 seed beads of the second color.
Place a stop bead after the last seed bead then remove the beading needle.
Repeat Steps 2 and 3 using the other two lengths of thread.
Remove the stop bead from the bright gold end of one strand.
Add a beading needle to the thread then string on a cone.
Pick up one bright gold 3mm round and three bright gold 2mm rounds. Pass the beading needle through the last 2mm round again then tie a knot to secure the thread. Remove the beading needle.
Repeat Step 5 using the other two lengths of thread, however instead of picking up new beads, pass the needle through the same 3mm round and 2mm rounds. Tie the thread around the last 2mm round.
Trim excess thread then add a bead tip over the 2mm round on the end of the strands.
Remove the stop beads from the opposite ends of each strand. Add a beading needle to all three threads.
Pick up:
Remove the beading needle from two of the threads.
Pick up 14 bright gold 2mm rounds then pass the needle through the last 2mm round again and tie a knot to secure the thread. Trim excess thread then add a bead tip.
Pass one jump ring through the bead tip on the end of the strand with only one bead tip and one 24mm brushed round then close.
On the opposite end of the strand, use jump rings to attach one 17mm pendant to each of the three bead tips to complete the necklace.
Pass a 4mm jump ring through one 17.5mm raindrop pendant and one ear wire then close.
Repeat to create a second earring.
