Instructions
This glass cutter is often referred to as a mosaic glass and tile cutter. The glass nipper has two precision cutting wheels that come together when pressure is applied to the handles, breaking the glass into small pieces. These cutters are also used to cut glass stringers into manageable lengths. The wheels are replaceable which makes this a tool for life.
Please use care when cutting glass. Wear safety glasses to protect your eyes and be aware of the sharp edges on the glass pieces which might cut your finger when handled.
Hold the corner of a piece of glass in between the wheels of the nippers.
Squeeze the handles of the nippers. The corner of the glass will break away.
Repeat to create as many pieces of glass as your design requires.
Hold a glass stringer between the wheels of the nippers then depress the handles to cut the stringer into pieces.
It is advisable to wash the glass pieces with soap and water to remove any oils or dirt. This step will prep the glass for fusing, wrapping with foil or whatever your project calls for next.
