How to Use Cord Caps

Instructions


Step 1
Wire wrapped around the end of a cord

Cut a length of wire. Gather a few lengths of cording that fit the internal diameter of your cord cap. Wrap the wire around the cords to secure them together.

Step 2
Cord cap being threaded onto a headpin

Insert a headpin into the cord cap so the ball or flat end of the headpin rests inside the cord cap. TIP: If the headpin comes through the hole, place a small bali-style rondelle or small round bead onto the end of the headpin so it remains inside the cord cap.

Step 3
Cord with adhesive and headpin

Apply adhesive to the cording and insert into the cord cap. Let the adhesive cure overnight.

Create a wrapped loop on the end of the headpin.
