Instructions
A jump ring is a circle of wire with a split in the middle. To open a jump ring, place a pair of chain-nose pliers or flat-nose pliers on each side of the opening, with one pair positioned at 1:00 and the other at 11:00; open the jump ring by twisting the pliers in opposite directions.
Note: It is important not to pull outwards as you will ruin the shape of the jump ring.
To close, reverse the motion matching up the ends of the jump ring.
