I noticed there are so many sizes of crimps.  Sometimes when I use the crimp that is designated on the various types of wire I have, they still pull off or wear off, and then the item breaks. Why does this happen? I always double check it and give it a tug and figure it is fine. What is going wrong?

We recommend using sterling silver crimp tubes over plated round crimp beads. Tubes don’t have edges that will fray the Accu-Flex® or other stringing material. Sterling silver is much softer and easier to crimp, making it more likely to hold tight. We think you’ll find much less breakage this way. Be sure to watch the tutorial on proper crimping.
