Are turquoise heishi beads made from a solid piece of turquoise or out of ground turquoise and resin? Thank you

Turquoise beads vary. Natural turquoise beads have no treatment. Stabilized turquoise is a solid piece of turquoise that has been infused with resin or another agent to increase durability and color. Assembled turquoise is made from fragments of turquoise that have been bonded together with resin or another binder to create the beads.
