I would like to make some fancy freshwater pearl necklaces and bracelets. However, I don’t know which wire to choose (22 gauge? 7 strands? 19 or 49?). Could you please help me out? What would be the best wire for freshwater pearls jewelry making?

Freshwater pearls are best on stringing materials with a good drape. We suggest Accu-Flex® 49-strand in whatever finish suits your jewelry. If you are making lighter pieces, use 0.014. For medium weight, use 0.019 and 0.24 for heavier designs.
