I've never worked with flat-back rhinestones and want to apply some to a flat mother-of-pearl teardrop earring. What would work best for this, hot fix or not hot fix? I generally use the G-S Hypo cement for glue, would this be okay to use in this application?
GS Hypo Cement® is great for rhinestones and would bond well to your mother-of-pearl. We recommend non-hot-fix flat back rhinestones to avoid heat damage. Just avoid any sort of quick “super glue” products that contain cyanoacrylate as they will react badly to foil-backed rhinestones.
